Sheffield Concord Netball ‘Core Inclusive Club’ enter SY league with Net4All!
Net4All section of Sheffield Concord Netball Club have recently entered the mainstream adult South Yorkshire team for the first time. Net4All is an inclusive club for girls and women with additional needs which has been running each month at the EIS since 2018. The section is an arm of Sheffield Concord Netball Club (an England Netball Core Inclusive Club) and is supported by club junior members and some of their parents. Several players have progressed (even winning the ParaNetball National Championships this year) yet there were few opportunities to play regularly. So this year we are experimenting by entering the mainstream South Yorkshire playing 15 matches across the season sponsored by ASDA to make it accessible to all. Junior & Adult Net4All coaches are supporting the players on court in unified or blended netball.
The first match against a young fit team from Stormers seemed an impossible task but the whole squad worked at it to come through to draw 15 all. A very positive start to the season!
