Awards for Coaches at Sheffield Concord and Net4All!
Several members of Sheffield Concord Netball Club are attending the prestigious England Netball National One Awards on Saturday at The Belfry as they have been shortlisted for National Awards as Regional winners.
The awards are to celebrate the volunteers in netball who work hard to give so many people joy through the game of netball. Sheffield Concord Netball club are proud to have three Yorkshire award winners now attending the National One Award finals:
Ava Wild is up for Young Volunteer of the Year for her work coaching juniors in the club as well as dedicating 5 years of time helping at the Net4All section for girls and women with intellectual needs.
Beccy Lewis is up for Coach of the Year (Adults) for her work with Parkhead Netball Back to Netball bringing over 550 women into the sport.
Net4All as a section won the Yorkshire Inclusion Award for progress in their work developing netball for girls & women with intellectual needs. The players won the England Netball ParaNetball Championships in February 2023.
On Saturday 14 October at a gala dinner at The Belfry, they will find out if Sheffield Concord Netball club have won the National Award in any of the three categories.
